Norman Tipton
Chief Executive Officer

Norman Tipton is the Chief Executive Officer and native of San Diego. For the past 10 years, he has served as Vice President and General Counsel of the company. Since 2007, Tipton has been an advisor to several publicly-traded company boards, including Allegiant Professional Business Services Inc. and Dalrada Financial Corp. In 2013, he officially joined the Board of Directors of Trucept, Inc. Tipton has previously held management positions at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), a Fortune 500 defense industry company, and was a Human Resources Manager at the San Diego Union-Tribune, where he managed labor negotiations and relations. Attending San Diego State University, he received his Master’s Degree in Sociology and his Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism. Tipton, a member of the California Bar, is a cum laude graduate of the Thomas Jefferson School of Law.

Julie Neill
Chief Operating Officer

Julie Neill brings years of payroll and insurance service expertise to her role as Chief Operating Officer of Trucept, Inc. With natural business savvy and extensive experience in human resources including risk management, she also has a proven record of growing businesses and driving efficiency with a zeal for providing exceptional customer service. Prior to becoming COO, Neill served as the Vice President of Operations for Afinida, Inc., a payroll startup where her leadership grew the business from zero to $350 million in annual payroll in just three short years and increased dramatically in the first quarter. She also held the position of Vice President of Operations for the Synergy Corporation where she was responsible for expansion into new areas including Third Party Administration (TPA). Neill has spent the majority of her professional career in customer service-facing roles, and believes that outstanding customer service is to be expected.

Kevin BrewerExecutive Vice PresidentSales and Marketing

Kevin is responsible for leading the Sales and Marketing efforts. He has over 25 years of experience in sales, sales management, direct response marketing, and digital transformation. Kevin holds a B.S. degree in Economics and Business Administration, and an M.B.A.

Rachel Henton
Vice President, Human Resources

Rachel Henton is the Vice President of Human Resources serving in our California office. Rachel has been in a Director of HR role for over ten years and oversees all human resources functions and support for our PEO clients. The bi-coastal Human Resources Team supports all clients with guidance on compliance and HR infrastructure. In addition to her vast Human Resources experience, Rachel is also well-versed in payroll, benefits, and workers’ compensation to provide the best possible support to our clients. Rachel Henton holds an M.B.A. with an emphasis in Human Resources management.

Jeff Yeaw
Director, Risk Operations & Safety

Jeff Yeaw oversees the Claims and Risk Management divisions in his role as Director of Risk Operations and Safety at Afinida Risk. Jeff is a certified Associate of Risk Management (ARM) and received an MBA at the Pepperdine School of Business.  He has consulted directly with companies and industries of all sizes such as SpaceX and UPS since 2003 on workers’ compensation, general liability, commercial auto and occupational health & safety matters.  Jeff enjoys building relationships with companies and assisting them with risk reduction and supporting a safe work environment.

Brendan McMenamy
Controller, Accounting

Brendan McMenamy is the Accounting Controller based in our California office. Brendan has over ten years of Finance and Accounting Experience. He has overseen financial operations for publicly traded and privately held companies in industries including PEO and Payroll, Healthcare, Insurance, Medical Technologies, and Restaurant and Fast-Food Franchises. Brendan leads the Finance and Accounting team in providing updated and accurate reporting for our customers, and to the Management Executives who rely on the financial data to make strategic business decisions.

Shaneekwa Ware
Payroll Supervisor

Shaneekwa Ware is the payroll manager for the CA and NJ offices and brings 10 years of payroll services experience in the PEO industry. She has been with Afinida, Inc., since startup and is now processing up to $200 million in annual payroll. Shaneekwa is a member of the American Payroll Association has knowledge and experience in payroll, Timeclock Configuration, Workers Compensation, and Taxes. She has spent the majority of her professional career in customer service and thrives on making sure all clients receive exceptional service.

Kammi Langdon
Client Services Manager

Kammi Langdon is the Client Service Manager in our California office. Kammi has been in the PEO and payroll industry for 5 years. She leads the Client Services Team in Implementation and Onboarding new clients to Afinida Payroll and Services. The Client Services Team is responsible for maintaining great communication and customer relationships with all Afinida clients. In addition to her vast payroll experience, Kammi also brings the experience and knowledge in human resources, taxes, workers compensation, and benefits.
